These tropical-inspired chicken skewers are bursting with bright, vibrant flavors from the mango pineapple glaze made with Freakshow Savory Sauces Mango Pineapple Hot Sauce. Tender chunks of marinated chicken are threaded onto skewers with fresh pineapple cubes, then grilled to perfection.

Ingredients:

-1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

-1 1/2 cup Freakshow Savory Sauces Mango Pineapple Hot Sauce, divided

-1/2 tsp salt

-1/4 tsp black pepper

1 pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into 1-inch cubes

Optional: add pieces of onion, peppers or mango to the skewer

Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of the mango pineapple hot sauce with cubed chicken and toss to coat. Cover and marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
2. Pre-heat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken and pineapple chunks alternately onto the soaked skewers.
3. Grill the skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
4. In a small saucepan, warm the remaining 1/2 cup of mango pineapple hot sauce over low heat.
5. During the last 2-3 minutes of grilling, use a basting brush to glaze the skewers with the warmed hot sauce.
6. Remove skewers from grill and let rest 5 minutes before serving. Drizzle with any remaining glaze sauce.

Serve the mango pineapple glazed chicken skewers over rice or with your favorite grilled veggies on the side. The sweet, tangy and spicy glaze is so flavorful! Enjoy!
